Nat Christian

Nat Christian wrote, directed and produced “MONDAY MORNING” a socio-political drama set within a political campaign and the harsh realities of Los Angeles’s homeless community.  Monday Morning received a theatrical release at Laemmle Theaters.  Monday Morning won the “Best Feature Film Award at the Long Island Film Festival, and was the Official Selection at others. It featured Victor Browne, Molly Kidder, Jessica Spotts, Cevin Middleton, Ken Melchior, Robert Axelrod, Nick Cimiluca, Robert Pike Daniel, Heather Hall and Nat.

Nat directed, produced his existential screenplay “CHANNELS”, which he acted in along with Kim Oja, Ed Asner, John Kassir, Taylor Negron and Joan Van Ark. Channels was an official selection at various film festivals.  Nat received the auteur award at the WSFF.

Nat directed and produced “FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE”, starring Florence Henderson, Allison Lange, David Paetkau.  The movie was an official selection at various film festivals.

Nat’s directorial debut came when Jerry Orbach (Law and Order), read one of Nat’s screenplays,”CALIFORNIA CASANOVA”, and offered to play the lead role in it which brought about the financing.  Along with Jerry Orbach, the cast included Audrey Landers, Tyrone Power Jr. Bryan Genesse, Ken Kercheval, Michelle Johnson.

Nat was then asked to direct the production company’s other feature, a zany comedy, “CLUB FED” featuring Karen Black, Judy Landers, Burt Young, Sherman Hemsley, Allen Garfield, Lance Kinsey, Joe Campanella.


Nat was the Story Consultant on “THE DUKE” (Buena Vista). He sold several screenplays and has consulted on others. Nat wrote the feature “700 Hill” for Monterrey Pictures, which is in development.

Prior to directing and writing, Nat studied filmmaking in college.  He was asked by classmates to act in their student projects.  He then studied with some of the top acting coaches in the industry and was soon cast in local plays, receiving critical acclaim and awards, and landed running roles on TV including “General Hospital”, “The Young and the Restless”, “Days of Our Lives.”

Nat resides in Los Angeles.
